““No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.”
Luke 11:33 NIV
I work in NYC 4 days out of the week. I interact with hundreds of thousands of people just on the public transit system. Oftentimes I look around at people and wonder “What’s your story? What happened to you today, yesterday, last year?”
In those moments… I reflect on our responsibility towards each other. How am I supporting the person sitting next to me? Something as simple as a smile or saying “I love that scarf,” can provide a greater impact than we ever realize.
What positive impact are you having on someone’s life today? You may be the only light someone sees today. Let your light be your legacy.
